Ryo impressed during Wigan’s 4-1 Capital One Cup win at West Ham. The Japanese international played the full 90 minutes at Upton Park.

Philip Roberts came on as a substitute in Inverness’ Scottish Communities League Cup win over Stenhousemuir. The striker came on after 102 minutes and converted a penalty in the shootout.
