Arsenal check up on Leicester starlet Liam Moore
Arsenal have joined Manchester United in the race
for Leicester City teenager Liam Moore, after sending scouts to watch him over
the weekend.
The 19-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of
the best young defenders outside of the top flight, has made a firm assault on
the Leicester first-team this season, having impressed whilst on-loan at
Bradford City last year.
The Gunners had representatives at Saturday’s 1-0
win over Blackpool, where Moore collected a clean sheet and turned in a
promising display.
It is understood that Leicester value Moore at
around £5 million, and would be willing to do business in January.
